It's a deeply uncomfortable thing, to realize that if you ignore that they have white hair and glasses and giant iridescent wings, your cool tall friend who gets straight A's and doesn't start screaming when faced with even a little bit of pressure looks kind of like your mom in this lighting. Vanessa has darker skin and bigger ears and a different nose, but the overall structure of their faces is similar, and they both have broad shoulders and wear cardigans.
It's weird and makes her wrinkle her nose--if Vanessa notices they don't say anything--and she decides not to mention it.
"You look kinda like my mom." She needs to curl up in a hole and die there.

Summary
YorHa is gone.
The Machine network literally left the planet.Because of two rebellious Pods who decided to disobey their orders, and gained sentience, three androids gets reactivated.
But now, with no YorHa and no War, they got only a single, precious life, that they have no idea what to do with.
9S must deal with the rampage he went on as he was unraveling, as well as deal with the fact that A2 will pretty much stick around.
2B must deal with the fact that the god, the lie she fought for... for so long thanked her by killing her.
And A2 must deal with her own purpose and sticking with a group when she's been a loner for so long.A peace treaty must be signed.
The resistance camp is in shambles, and there's so many dead.Yet, in the middle of all that, there is hope. and maybe, just maybe... something else, too. something they all forbade themselves to have before.
Post ending E feel good fic. I do not yet know if there will be smut or not, so it is not rated.

A re-imagining of what could have happened when A2 and Pascal returned to the factory after the goliath fight in Route C. A2's own grief is triggered by the sight, and she convinces Pascal to keep going, even through the pain.
“Please, I-” if he could sob, he would be sobbing. “You don’t understand, I can’t go on like this-!”
A2 looks up at him and shakes her head. “Yes you fucking can.” She croaks. “Welcome to the fucking club.”
