Summary
There’s a picture Tsumiki drew in fourth grade of her family stuck to the fridge with a magnet that Gojo found in a parking lot.
No mother, no Toji. Her and Megumi and Gojo. Drawn in crayon and everything. He’d hung it up then as a joke. Maybe to embarrass the girl when she’s older and realized that Gojo wasn’t much older than they are but now it just makes him sick to his stomach.
He couldn’t protect her.
He turns and dry heaves into the kitchen sink.
“Satoru?”
He doesn’t look up, he doesn't need to.
“Suguru.”

Megumi doesn't realize he's baring his heart to a beast that surely will devour him whole.
