  Summary

  There’s something quite magical about the last few hours of Hallowe’en, by anyone’s standard. Most people assume it’s the history of the day and the lingering superstitions. However, some people know that it seems magical because it is magical - it’s the day where the veil between the Now and the Beyond is thin and, as the sky is darkest before the dawn, the veil is weakest in the last hours.

  Our story is about the people who know that magic thrives in the final moments of the Sabbat, and lives in every other aspect of the world around us. But for now we will go back to the beginning. Not the beginning of time or even the beginning of the events this story will tell, but a beginning that makes sense nonetheless.
