“Bro— I— I don’t know what to say to you. He’s gone,” Parrot repeats, sounding just as lost as Wato feels.

Summary
There’s filth covering his trousers. Dirt, stray pieces of grass, and everything else in between. It's a mess. Thrust into a precarious world, into living under the very last of the sweltering and dizzying heat. It's almost always summer here. Wato’s still saying something, he realizes. He's tuned him out at some point already, like the constant static that you grow familiar with. He's also not talking to Ken—At least, not the real one. Just the hallucination.
Ken turns and walks away.
