Summary
Tim had always enjoyed shows like What The Ghost or Ghost Hunt UK. He'd been a huge fan of horror before he lost Danny, and the sheer unseriousness of them after his run in with the circus was something akin to comfort, so he kept up with the ones he really liked.
That's how he and the rest of the Archival Assistants ended up watching a gaming live stream by Georgie Barker, instead of working. Well, not that they would be working anyway, what with their boss being on the run for two murders, but this was a nice enough distraction.
Said boss decided to walk into frame at that moment.
What. The Fuck.

Summary
"Annabelle sets a mug of tea in front of him. He picks it up, takes a sip. He didn’t decide to do that, but it’s happening anyway. She sits down across from him, takes a sip from her own mug. 'The Mother of Puppets is fond of you,' she says. Like that explains anything.
'You mean, the—spiders?' Jon asks, dread growing in his stomach.
'Knock, knock,' Annabelle says, smiling at him over her mug."
The Web decides to claim Jon for its own. There are a few growing pains.

Summary
The phone sat on the wall, where Jon was sure there had not been a phone before. It was cherry red and sat nestled in a cradle of the same color. Where Jon expected a cord, spiraling into the wall, there was simply more of that shining plastic. Its ring was unobtrusive, like a polite question.
Jon did not answer. It was just a feeling, a tug in his gut, almost instinctual. He should not answer. He did not think he would like what whoever was on the other end had to say.

Jon managed to escape unharmed the day he found a Leitner in a pile of battered paperbacks, but you can never truly escape the Web once it sets its many eyes upon you.
You can only wait until it reels you in again, and pray it isn't hungry when you knock.
