Buck's worn down face screws in confusion and he knits his brows, looking at Eddie in complete shock like he doesn't believe what he is seeing. "E-Eddie?"
"Yeah, Buck. It's me." Eddie smiles gently and cups Buck's face, tilting his head to see his boyfriend. "I'm here, you're safe."
But Buck holds his wrist and lowers it down from his face, his broken eyes widening with fresh tears as he starts to shake his head and pulls away. His voice painfully hoarse as he speaks. "N-no, no, you're— you're dead, you're dead."
