Tim used to think of saying no. Back when they started. To ask Kon for help, or to beg Bart to sprint him to safety. But Tim knows there is no escape. Not from Jason Todd. After all, he did break into Titans tower to beat Tim half to death before.
So he says yes, like he always does. “I have time after patrol,” he says in a quiet, measured tone. He doesn’t think he would be able to make himself finish patrolling after that. Best to hope he gets murdered by a stray bullet or the Joker first, right?

Jason tries to lunge for the door, but Kon blocks him with one hand. “Look, I’m already pissed at you for not being at the hospital when Tim woke up,” he snaps. “I didn’t actually expect any better, but you try looking in his doped up little face when you tell him his alpha’s too busy out picking a fight to come make sure he’s okay. So fuck you for that. But if you think I’m going to be the one to tell him his jackass of a boyfriend died of an infection because he couldn’t be bothered to slap some stitches on his fucking injuries, you’d better hope you don’t come back to life a second time because I’ll be making sure you don’t the third time.”
Now Jason snarls at him, fangs fully bared and chest rumbling like revving engine. It would be a very intimidating display if Kon was an omega, or even a weaker alpha.
But Kon’s a beta, or at least close enough to one given his unique genetics, and all it does to him is make him wrinkle his nose.
Or: Kon and Jason both love Tim very much, and they take it out on each other.
