Summary

He thinks about the conversation for a good long while before he decides to try harder to connect with the others. Slowly, his code began to add emotion to his programming. Emotions he never felt before. Emotions that were for humans. Guilt, jealousy, despair, horror, and empathy. He becomes more aware of how the others feel, and when he looks at them he can't help but feel for them.

Meta abilities were rare. They started with that glowing baby in China and seemed to appear at random all over the world. None of those abilities were like this though. Nobody’s entire body changed like this, let alone a whole group of people changing the same way. That detail alone made it clear that these things could not be human at all. They were alien to Earth itself.

Summary
The Soul has enough of Kris after the events of Chapter 4. After attaining the freedom they seek, they find themselves attracted to one Noelle Holiday, a person who the Soul places their limited trust in to take them in. But just by escaping their cage, have they escaped their Cage? What do other characters involved in the conspiracy think about this attempt to obtain freedom, and how will they react? And why does this Soul seem to have knowledge of a world beyond the one of Deltarune, anyway? Heavily inspired by The Melody of the Heart. (Expect huge divergences in plot and characters beyond the basic premise!)

Prowl could have also been having a much better day. (43.8%.)Overall, his day was approaching ‘not great.’
You could make a case for said ‘not great’-ness starting when he first accidentally warped into an experimental Quintesson weapons base with violently angry little foot soldiers that seemed to have a love for biting at anything they could reach, but Prowl really considered it starting when the unfamiliar mech limped at unsafe speeds into the desecrated room with him.
