Summary
When Yuji decided to confess his feelings to Gojo-sensei after his graduation, he didn't expect a rejection. With a broken heart and shame coloring his cheeks, he left for Sendai to lick his wounds in peace, putting distance between himself and his former teacher.
Now, years later, he's assigned a mission with Gojo again - and the worst part is that his feelings only seem to grow stronger. But surely, it doesn't matter since his former teacher doesn't feel the same way, right?
Right?
Note: The fic is set as a sort of prequel and explanation of how Yuji and Satoru got together before the events of Accidental Reunion. No need to read part 1 of the series but it's highly encouraged.

Summary
Gojo Satoru is the strongest sorcerer alive. He can shatter mountains, bend time, and wield Infinity, but he can't seem to remember his daughter's school play, or be present for his husband.
After ten years of marriage, the cracks are finally showing. Yuji Itadori is exhausted, carrying the entire domestic load and constantly being prioritized second to the world ending crises Gojo is addicted to solving. When Satoru forgets a crucial family event, Yuji finally takes the kids and leaves, seeking "space" at Megumi's house.
For the first time in his life, Gojo is forced to confront a problem he can't charm or fight his way out of: the terrifying possibility that he's neglected his family until the point of no return.
But before they can find solid ground, a stress-triggered, early heat strikes Yuji. With his suppressants failing and their bond screaming for the presence of his Alpha, they are violently forced back into the same bed, before they've had a chance to fix anything.
Now, Gojo must drop the mantle of "The Strongest" and find the courage to be vulnerable, or risk losing the only thing in the world that truly matters to him.
