“Um… what just happened.” Eddie said, glaring at the dimmed light bulbs and white-knuckling the bar of the elevator wall.
“I think… the elevator just broke down.” Richie said, huffing in surprise at the realization. Eddie stared at him in abject horror.

To be fair, you would be upset too if you got locked in an elevator with the man you had a huge crush on - who also happened to be the man you were contractually obligated to assassinate.
