Summary
What could have happened if Charlotte Heywood had said just a little bit more than "a last goodbye" while sitting next to Alexander Colbourne at Lady Denham's canceled wedding? This one shot alternative extended scene arose out of a convo on reddit about things which we may have changed about S3E6. I adored Sanditon and its ending, but thought this might be fun (My first and only FanFic to date--rated G).

This story picks up around 5 weeks after the heartbreak at Trafalgar House, trying to fill in a few of the blanks between then and the end of Season 2, and looking at some of the emotions that led to Colbourne leaving Heyrick park for London and Charlotte becoming engaged to Ralph. There will be angst at the start of this story and for that I am sorry!
