Summary
When he wakes up, all he knows is the press of a woman’s hand to his shoulder. He looks up and sees her - familiar as ever, though he cannot begin to place her into any of his lack of memories, he can only conjure up the image of a crescent moon on its side, bracketed with two arrows, intertwined with a bolt of silver in the night sky. She crouches before him, long white hair loosely braided and limbs seeming to fizzle out at the edges. She brings darkness to this bed of soil, which raises a question - his first coherent thought - that he cannot voice aloud. She seems to understand, and she raises a finger to her lips to quiet his enquiry.

Summary
On the 30th of March, 1986, Robin and Steve decide to leave Hawkins behind them.
“I—I know it’s not great, y’know if you were planning on getting with someone.”
He grabs her shoulder, like he needs her to listen to him, like she’s not always listening to him. “I don’t give a shit about that. I don’t—I don’t know. It’s not something I like, need, Rob. I’ve got you, haven’t I? I would be happy living with you for the rest of my life, I guess. I don’t know.” He looks unfairly pretty in his cheap suit and the ugly overhead lights against the grey felt of her cubicle wall. “Probably sounds crazy,” he says, “sorry.”
“You should marry me for real,” she says, four years after they decided they were getting out. She should have known, even then, that they weren’t deciding to get out, they were deciding to choose each other over anything else.

As the two of them started to slowly stumble to the front of the ER, Hopper took a brief moment to think about it. Took a moment to think how despite everything—despite barely knowing the kid, despite all his preconceptions and assumptions, despite the amount of times Steve had purposefully acted like a smart-ass punk just to piss him off—Hopper had realized something tonight:
