“Yeah, of course. Come on, Kie. Not like that’s the first time you’ve heard me say that.”
“Yeah, well, it used to be a lot funnier before our best friend actually ended up in jail.”

After the botched jailbreak attempt, the remaining Pogues return to the Chateau. JJ’s words continue echoing in Kie’s brain, about how he’s just going to end up in jail anyways. On another night, maybe she would’ve let him get away with it. But tonight she’s determined to talk some sense into that thick head of his.

Summary
The one where John B realizes how much JJ cares about him, and tries to understand what it means and how he will deal with it. Spoilers: it has a happy ending.
John B looks over to Sarah. She’s beautiful, with her long hair, and the face that he knows so well. He’s kissed every inched of her, and would do it all over again, for eternity. He loves her. He just, he really loves her.
She’s incredible. She’s so good, and even when he hates her, when he blames her and when all the anger comes pouring out of him, and onto her, he still loves her. That’s the girl he married. That is the girl he will always love.But then Kie says it. “You didn’t see him. You didn’t see it.” And she says it like it means something more. Like there’s something she won’t talk about, a secret that is not meant for him.
So John B looks over to JJ.
