Turning to face the bathtub, he picks up the razor, bringing it to his sleeve. Maybe if he doesn’t cut too deep, he won't die.
So he cuts, but not deep enough to kill -or he thought-. It hurts. His arms hurt. He feels dizzy. There’s blood everywhere. Blood drips off the bathtub, onto the floor. His shorts are stained with blood, his shirt, his skin.
He thinks he’s crying but he can’t tell. He wants a hug. He’s scared. He wants his dads. Would they come if he’s loud enough? He tries to shout but his voice refuses to come out. He cries harder. He doesn’t want to die.
Please don’t let me die. One more chance, I promise.
