   Summary

   When Christine awakens after an encounter with the Green Fairy to find she has penned a revealing letter to Erik, she leaves it in her dressing room for him to find. But when she returns to neither rosebud nor response in return, her heart is broken. Erik himself appears, however, bearing gifts which quickly and unexpectedly lead to a breathless interlude deep below Le Théâtre de l'Opéra.
