Summary
Since the beginning of time, there has never been a love deeper and more profound between two beings in all of existence. There's just one problem: the universe will never accept the love between a spit-fire dove and a lonely dragon with a heart of burnished gold.
Anthony the Starmaker and Dove of God, and Azrafael, a crass and surly dragon-demon who refuses to align himself with any of Lucifer's many legions, have been created to stand on opposites sides of the warring factions between Heaven and Hell. But neither Heaven nor Hell could have ever anticipated how deeply these two polar-opposite beings would fall in love with each other, nor how hard the two would fight together to protect the things they love the most... How hard they would fight to secure their secret romance in the stars even as the Fates continue to try and tear them apart.
But as they find themselves stumbling upon a mystery and a growing cadre of monsters and creatures hell-bent on terrorizing life as we know it, it will be up to the Dove and the Dragon to stop the calamity and find the peace to be with each other uninhibited and share in the joy of life and love that both lonely hearts desire more than anything.

Aziraphale’s hands, once hesitant, found more confidence, his fingers curling into the fabric of Crowley’s trousers as he tried—and failed—to suppress the soft groan that escaped his lips. “Crowley, this is—”
“What?” Crowley interrupted, his voice husky, his lips brushing against Aziraphale’s ear as he spoke. “Improper?”
Aziraphale let out a shaky breath, his heart racing in his chest as Crowley’s lips skimmed along his jawline. “Well… yes,” he admitted, his voice barely more than a whisper, though there was no conviction behind the protest. In fact, the way Aziraphale’s hands had tightened their grip on Crowley’s hips told a very different story.
Crowley chuckled, the sound deep and rich, vibrating through both of them as he ground down again, this time with more pressure, more intention. “Fuck 'improper.' Literally.”

Leaning against the doorframe, Nile looked out onto the domestic scene she was about to interrupt. At first glance, there was nothing unusual at the sight. Joe was in the kitchen cooking a great-smelling sausage, Nicky lounged on the couch and watched the snow fall outside the window, and Andy leaned over the kitchen table reading a book. Compared to the storm of bullets and glass she’d dealt with in London, watching them relax in their remote safe house in the Alps was almost picturesque.
It wasn’t the humans that troubled Nile. It was their daemons.
