Right where he’d left it all, Eddie makes it to the living room and sees his little metal lunchbox open on the coffee table. Rolling papers, his heavy silver grinder, several baggies and a small scale spill out the top as Steve plops down onto the black pleather futon.
“You named your dildo?” Eddie can’t believe the question, even as it falls out of his mouth.
Steve snorts, his nose crinkling as he shakes his head. “I do name some of my uh… things, yeah, but that one wasn’t me. Blame the internet.”

Eddie feels like he might pass out.

Summary
Steve now lamented the day Eddie received his acceptance letter, because it felt like the beginning of the end. Eddie's classes took up most of his day, and the one night he'd had the evening off from work, the one night Steve had asked him to be home, he hadn't.
"I lost sight of things, Stevie. But you have to know that nothing...nothing, would ever be worth losing you. Us. There is nothing in this world that would make me sacrifice you. So...tell me I haven’t lost this? That you haven’t let me go?"
Eddie looked shaken, fighting for composure and clinging ever tighter to Steve’s fingers. From his dimpled cheeks to his wide brown eyes, to his pillowy lips and button nose, Eddie was just as beautiful as ever, and Steve felt in his heart of hearts, he still wanted him, he still loved him. Nothing was about to change that.
"Eddie, I couldn’t let you go even if I wanted to. Just being apart last night was too much. I couldn’t live without you. No matter how crazy you make me."
Or....They've been drifting apart. Eddie has been so wrapped up in his new life as a student that he'd neglected what's important at home. They fight, and Eddie makes up for it in the best way possible.

“What’d I’d warn you about, hm?” Steve presses into him, making Eddie’s hips grind painfully into the granite, the length of him already hard against the cleft of Eddie’s ass. “Someone could take advantage of a pretty little thing like you.”

Summary
It's pink. Not even hot pink; something he can pair with some black and chains and chunky jewelry to make it look a little more metal. No, this is a soft, baby pink made of lace and mesh that both looks and feels so, so delicate. He kind of hates it, how goddamn soft it is in its nature. Nothing about Eddie is soft, and he feels ridiculous just holding it in his hands.
