    Adaine has a complicated relationship to the concept of "home" before you even get to the fact that she was born in Fallinel. It doesn't help that despite being technically a Fallinish citizen, she doesn't know anyone there, certainly not anyone she could call in a crisis. She's visited a couple of times, but less often than they could with the Teleport spell at their disposal. Her parents aren't particularly close to their families - it's a cultural thing.
