Summary
Percy doesn’t know much about time travel. Or, time as a concept in general. He’s never really on time to anything and Annabeth is the only reason he was able to pass physics, so he’s definitely not an expert on the topic. But, he’s already figured out two things:
Rule number one: don’t make deals with primordial beings that will make your short and miserable life, shorter and miserable-er.
Rule number two: if you still make a deal, at least make sure that you won’t time travel back to the moment you sled down a hill on a free sample platter.
Percy has never been very good at following rules, which means he’s plummeting to what unfortunately isn’t certain death, being chased by Bargain Mart vest-clad Stheno and Euryale. Is he annoyed? Absolutely. Surprised? Of course not.
