Summary
Wednesday Addams has no want in this world, other than to solve a murder. Unfortunately, trapped by societal convention in the countryside, the opportunity has never presented itself. That is, until a headless body is found in the woods around the same time the genial Mr. Galpin and his off-putting friend Mr. Thorpe arrive at the neighboring estate, Crosswood Hall.
Determined to solve the case while dodging her mother's attempts to see Wednesday wed, Miss Addams finds herself in a far more complicated mystery than she could have imagined.
