“It’s dangerous out here at night,” Remus wet his lips, suddenly aware of how dry they were, “and we’re quite far from the nearest town.”
The man in front of him continued to gaze up at him, eyes twinkling with a dangerous look, seeming to dare him to ask risky questions, to probe and let curiosity kill the cat. “What’s your name?” he asked, feigning ignorance to Remus’ concern.
“Remus.” He answered without a second thought to who he was telling this to, something about the other man made him want to lay himself out bare, secret’s spilling out into the night air, all the good and the ugly. Something about the other man was dangerous but Remus felt the blood in his veins ignite at the thought.
“Remus,” the man with eyes like the moon whispered, “I’m Sirius.”

Summary
It's hard to put a name to this feeling.
It toes the very fine line between dread and absolute mental misery.
Regulus wants this night to be good. Great, even. The best they've ever had. But he's choosing to be realistic, and he knows that with the darkness lying inside him, it's only a matter of time.
He knows this. Regulus is nothing if not a thorough and borderline maniacal planner. He's aware the mark on his arm changes everything. It's a tangible representation of the stark differences between Regulus and Him. Of everything they both stand for, or rather, what Regulus has resigned himself to. But he knows it's their last night, and Regulus plans to milk it for everything it's worth.

It's the middle of the day and Sirius Black is in pain. It appears she always was. Whether it be a sharp sting in her head, a dull ache in her lower back or an excrutiating wave of assault in her abdomen, it never stopped. Maybe it's time she questioned why that is.
This is a Female Sirius Black Fic! It is not with intent to sexualize or take away from any of the female characters in the Marauders Era. It is more with the intent of bringing to light an important matter, but it just so happens I can't write about things unless I have an obsession with the characters, so I adjusted some things so I could write about an issue I was passionate about and actually finish it as well.
