Summary
Roy dropped his stuff and started pulling off his gear. “I don't care, so long as there's a bed,” he huffed.
He watched Jason pause. “You know, I used to work alone pretty exclusively. I think this place only has one bed.”
Roy pretended to be unfazed with a small shrug as he continued to dress down. “Well, I'm not about to sleep on the floor after all that bullshit, so I hope you're in the mood to share.”
Jason looked tense, which didn't particularly make Roy feel at ease. It wasn't like Jason didn't like him; he knew that. The more pressing problem was how Roy felt about him. He liked Jason, maybe a little too much. He wanted more than Jason would ever be willing to give, and that was fine. It probably wasn't going to feel so fine with them sharing a bed, though.

There’s just one problem: they haven’t fucked yet. And it’s not— it’s not actually a problem, not exactly. Roy isn’t feeling unfulfilled — his sex drive is pretty normal, as far as he’s aware, but he’s fine with taking care of himself after heavy makeout sessions that never go further. Even if Jason never wants to fuck, he’s cool with that. Roy told him as much, once: some messy babble about how he’ll still love him and how Connor feels that way and how he’d never be mad — but Jason had interrupted him, red-faced and chuckling, and told him it wasn’t a never, told him he just wasn’t ready yet. That was three months ago.
Right now, Roy’s sitting in bed, sheets pooled in his lap, watching Jason stretch shirtless in front of the mirror and talk about an outing he had with Cass the other day, and he wants, wants, wants.
