    A never-ending series of stand-alone one-shots of Blaine sitting in Kurt’s lap.
[Canon and AU stories] MIXED-RATINGS. All M and E chapters are clearly marked.

Inspired by a comment from one of my wonderful readers who said, “You know I could read a whole 100,000-word fic about Blaine sitting in Kurt's lap and Kurt holding him, right???!!!”

It might take me a while, but I’ll do my best to get there! ♥ Started for the Klaine Spring Fling hosted on Tumblr.

    Summary

Years ago, Kurt and Blaine had it all—until they didn’t. Young and in love, they married too fast, divorced too painfully, and moved on in the only way they knew how: separately. Time passed. They each married again, but those marriages came and went, quieter endings this time. Two years later, now in their early thirties, they’ve been talking again—texts at first, then late-night phone calls, the kind where it’s easier to blurt things they don’t mean to say aloud, but are the truths waiting to set them free. When a song stirs something raw in Kurt, he makes a call that changes everything. But this time, they’re not boys playing house. They’re men choosing each other, with eyes open, hearts bared, and a real understanding of what “I’m never saying goodbye to you” really means.

    Summary

Great Gatsby AU. It's been a decade since Kurt Hummel has seen or heard from his first love, Blaine Anderson. And on the brink of thirty, he's doing quite well for himself--a head writer at Vogue.com, engaged to one of the richest men on the island of Manhattan, planning the wedding of the year. But that doesn't stop the curiosity he feels at night when he looks across Central Park to see the lights of extravagant parties raging every weekend.

    Summary

This is an AU that spans from the late 1950s to just shy of modern-day. With the exception of the prologue, it goes in order. It begins in the fall of 1959 at Dalton Academy and follows the trajectory of the American gay experience through our not-always-so-happy couple. While the central story series is Klaine, there are some genfic stories on the side, set in the same universe and timeframe. Mostly because, as I planned out the main story, I kept coming back to all the ways in which the members of New Directions would be different 50 years ago, how many ways their worlds would be unfamiliar or more limited than we think of today. For all politicians seem to talk about what a great time the 1950s were, they weren't for a lot of people.

There will be links periodically to songs involved in the story. Sometimes it's a big plot point, sometimes the character is singing it, sometimes it's just what's on in the background. Think of it like the soundtrack, since it's not something we can hear in the episode because there is no episode. Or disregard it entirely, that's up to you.

    Summary

In the mountains of what was once the Northeastern United States of America, the descendants of a band of refugees who had escaped New York City at the end of a great World War are beginning to thrive after almost a thousand years of struggle. Relying on a combination of bits and pieces of advanced technology salvaged from the remains of great cities, as well as the still-pristine forest that they now call home, the people of Westerville are determined to rebuild a world in which peace, love, and cooperation mean more than victory, greed, and wealth.
