Summary
Qrow Branwen has worked with a lot of people he’d rather never meet ever again. And then, he meets Clover Ebi.
“My Semblance is good fortune. Lucky you, huh?”
…he’s never wanted to kill his partner outright from the start, but perhaps he can make an exception. He did promise he’d change for his nieces, after all- whether that change is good or not is a different story.
-aka an exploration of the tension between Clover and Qrow which could have actually developed in the show. Eventual Fair Game.

Summary
Qrow looked up, distracted again by how different he looked from the last time he’d given his appearance any real consideration. He had been told enough times that his red eyes were striking, and he believed that once it had been true, but as he’d aged the color seemed too bright against the pallor of his skin, drawing attention to the bags under his eyes.
Today, though, with his hair slicked back from his face, their color accentuated by the matching jacket and the flush it brought out in his skin, he felt he could believe it again.
He looked healthy, or at least something approaching it.
Qrow honestly couldn’t remember the last time he could have looked at himself in the mirror and had that be true.

“This is your fault,” Toshiro said breathlessly, keeping Laios’ hand on his face, “m-my body, it feels different...”
Intrigued, Laios moved closer. “How so?”
“Wherever you touch me, I feel like I'm burning up.”
Laios’ hand stopped at Toshiro’s neck, and the action was enough to make him gasp, incredibly sensitive to every touch, even the heat of his voice made him wet.
His hands were rough, yet delicate. Toshiro needed them all over him.
Laios and Toshiro fall right into a trap. A trap that seems to want them to relieve their frustrations on each other. Laios is willing, and Toshiro would rather be anywhere but here right at this very moment.
