Finally, Essek deigned to touch him properly. To caress along the softest parts of his hand, tenderly uncurling one finger after another until he could dip inside their cradle, nails scraping maddeningly lightly across the meat of his palm. Each little scrape like a brand he could still feel burning sweetly afterwards.
Another breath shook from his lungs, pulled from the depths of his being.
“Essek-”
As always, it was the desperate sound of Essek’s name on his lips that finally did it, that led those soft lips to his own.
