"Hyung, did you mean that? Do you think I'm pretty?" Seungmin asked, his expression unreadable. Minho couldn't tell if he was joking.
"Are you seriously asking me that, Seungminnie? I told you, didn't I? I mean, I could—purely for scientific research purposes, of course—demonstrate your undeniable beauty by ruining you in front of this massive mirror. Think of it as a...highly personal form of art appreciation," Minho said, laughing at his own joke. He hoped Seungmin understood he was teasing, but then the younger's next words threw him off.
"Would you do that to me, hyung?" Seungmin asked, his gaze conveying seriousness.
"Wait—what? Kim Seungmin, what are you thinking? You- I was just joking!" Minho said nervously, realizing the younger man was serious.
Seungmin leaned closer, their faces inches apart.
"Would you?" he asked again.
Silence filled the practice room, broken only by Minho's rapidly beating heart.
What the hell have I gotten myself into? he thought.
