Luffy looks at him intently. “Hey, Shanks, do you have a knife?”
“Huh? Yeah, why?” Shanks questions, though he hands Luffy a dagger anyways.
Luffy smiles. “I’m too recognizable,” he says and then he jerks the blade up and tears through the skin under his eye.

Shanks gets word that one Trafalgar Law, Supernova and former ally of Luffy, has been found adrift. Immediately, he has to go find out more.
Only when he arrives, Trafalgar makes him quite the alarming offer.
