    “Due respect, sir. I hope that whoever’s giving the orders at Eighth knows we got away lucky.”

    Nate’s already arranging a similar line of thoughts into an order he thinks the legate will like best to hear them, but he isn’t about to share that with a centurion he hardly knows.
