Summary
In honour the five year anniversary of the best episode of television: Midnight sun.
Erwin crawls over to Levi, pushing through the pain threatening to overwhelm him. He doesn’t understand how this happened, how after everything he was alive and Levi..he crawls faster, forcing his thoughts away. Levi had been so close, but he’d hesitated. And Erwin tries to convince himself that Levi must have hesitated for any other reason but the one that will haunt him for the rest of his life. The quadraped titan had come out of nowhere, sunk its teeth into his captain and Levi had dropped. Humanity’s strongest had finally succumbed and it was all his fault.
It was supposed to be me. Levi was always meant to survive.
He reaches Levi, pulling himself up and pulling Levi into his arm. His body is still warm, but Erwin feels a coldness seeping through him. He pulls Levi closer towards him and that’s when he hears it. The faintest sound. A heartbeat.

Summary
Takes place immediately after the Cursed Womb Arc in an AU where Nanami and Gojo have raised Megumi (and Tsumiki together). My take on how Itadori and Kugisaki found out Megumi was raised by Gojo.
Fushiguro realises he has been hiding a lot of things from his friends and finally opens up to them. In doing so, he inadvertently pushes him and Itadori closer together.
Gojo and Nanami observe as the boy they raised starts coming out of his shell. It has taken both of them years to heal from the trauma they themselves experienced as teenagers, and all they want is better for the children that are coming after then.
