What if Jason is back with the Bats for real? No bad feelings anymore?
What if Dick is now really a big brother for him?
What if Tim notices how much everything changes and nothing at all at the same time?Thats a little thought I had, about replacements that aren't really replacements. With Jason carving out his own place in the family and the others being very welcoming to it.

Some may call this trip back in time to the warehouse where he died a PTSD nightmare; others might call it a self-care retreat.
Why couldn’t it be both?
Or, Older Jason goes back in time to kill the Joker, and Jaybin mistakes him for Bruce. He’s the father that he wishes Bruce was and maybe the one Bruce still has a chance to be with Jason’s interference.

Summary
“Why did you trigger your distress beacon if you didn’t want me to come help?”
He made a non-committal noise and landed on honesty. “Never used it before. Figured no one would come, and I wanted to test the hypothesis.”
Or, Dick brings Jason back to the Batcave for medical treatment, and Jason realizes that maybe his family worries about him more than he thought.

Summary
Dick stood on the sidewalk and looked at the shelter and thought: Jason built this.
Not metaphorically. Not indirectly. Not through violence or territory or the complex power dynamics of Gotham's underworld. He built this - the actual, physical, brick-and-mortar structure of safety - with plans and money and people and the particular, stubborn, relentless *care* that Jason pretended he didn't have and that everyone who knew him recognized as the defining fact of his personality.
In which Jason successfully franchises community services.

Summary
Marvel looked up from what appeared to be a granola bar. "Hmm?"
"Red Hood is operating in your city," Batman said, in the voice he used when he was being very careful not to let an emotion into his tone, which paradoxically conveyed more emotion than if he'd just yelled.
"Oh!" Marvel said. "Yeah, I know."
People very rarely tell Batman "No." Nobody expected Captain Marvel, sunshine man, to join the very short list.
