When Shen Yuan had first transmigrated into the world of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he had very quickly discovered that something was deeply wrong. This wasn’t the story he’d spent thousands of hours reading and rereading and trash-talking on the forums—this was an alternate universe omegaverse Proud Immortal Demon Way.
He knew what that was, of course. He’d never read any, but you couldn’t be in an internet fandom and not know about it. It was a convoluted, blatant excuse for more papapa: for authors who didn’t want their characters to completely consent, but wanted to shoehorn a biological excuse for the non-con. Even Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky didn’t resort to such gimmicky measures!

Shen Qingqiu turned back to look at him. His eyes were big and round, imploring, just as they had been when he’d first proposed a few hours earlier.
“This disciple was hoping...” he began, voice quivering.
Shen Qingqiu found himself somewhere between exasperation, impatience, and fondness. He was already preparing himself emotionally to get into Luo Binghe’s favourite position—what more could his sticky disciple want?
When Luo Binghe still didn’t finish his sentence, Shen Qingqiu gently took his hand into his own. “Yes, Binghe?”
“That... Shizun could be the one to... do it.”
