This is a gem of a story. The author really knows how to write the characters to make them believable...and how to create a main character that is well developed.
I cannot stress enough, Squid Game fans, and especially In-ho fans, should give this a chance. The chapters are always the perfect length too!
This reads like a love letter to the show (I have said something similar about one other fic), with how it sticks true to the themes but tells the story from an original character's point of view.
(Embodiment of "When life gives you lemons...". Will In-ho and the MC make lemonade, or let the lemons pile up and bury them?)

I was going through Percy Jackson tags, and found this absolute masterpiece of a fic! The author took the setting and has expanded on it so well.
The MC, as Luke, is trying their hardest to change his fate, and is doing so with a fun cast of characters. Also, don't get me started on the "romance". Mercury? Hello?! Mouth-watering...
A must read for the creativity that was put in playing around with the reincarnation concept.
(Luke is so done with these gods and destiny, too bad they have their eyes on him)

This was such a fun ride. The author really got the characterisation of Thomas Shelby well (imo), which isn't easy as a lot of people don't go any further than his gangster persona.
The story dealt with canon plot points interestingly, adding the original female character in a way that did not seem forced.As for the OC, she was a layered character that added and played off of Tommy. Their growing relationship was believable, their interactions and changing emotions towards eachother sprinkled here and there.
This is a must read and a definite re-read, despite being incomplete. Thank you for writing (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)

Zuko and Katara as so well written here! The relationship buildup is literally everything as it is not forced and takes into consideration their individual motivations. The alternative timeline is often explored in fiction though this has a fresh take!

The white-haired man froze, and almost right as that happened, the box started to shake.
Kagome’s body moved on instinct. Her gut telling her that something bad was about to happen, her knowledge that she could stop it, her deep conviction the white-haired man deserved to have someone on his side — it all took over, and she couldn't have stopped to think about it if she wanted to.
Just as the box was launching itself forward, she’d stepped in front of it, raising a hand. Her back collided with that of the white-haired man, so she was certain whatever was coming wouldn’t get in contact with him, another unconscious decision. Since she didn’t have anything to channel her energy into, all she could do was raise the staff she’d grabbed earlier. It wasn’t anything much, but she could still push her energy through it, using it to shape it as she wished to.
“Kekkai!”
Or: Kagome is at Shibuya, and one person changes everything.

I love funky stories that incorporate the InuYasha fandom, especially since demons/curses/entities and exorcising powers are popular in stories. My girl Kagome is HER!
Despite the lack of a recent update, it is still a good read!
(Kagome can't catch a break, no matter the era. She's also cursed to always have a white haired guy near her vicinity it seems)
