Summary
It’s been a year since Iruka unmasked the ANBU Hound, and since then he and Kakashi have grown closer than Iruka ever dared to dream. But there are still things Kakashi keeps from him: he won’t talk about his father or his genin team, although rumours about their deaths have always been rife.
Iruka’s chance to learn more finally comes when they celebrate Obon together – the summer festival of the dead. One sweltering night, they invite the spirits of their loved ones into Kakashi’s home, but on the second night, when they try to send them back to the underworld, something goes wrong. The dead still linger in Kakashi’s house – and they’re restless.
All Iruka has is a handful of seals, a book of ghost stories, and his feelings for Kakashi, which burn so brightly he’s starting to question their nature. But he will protect Kakashi and no one can stop him – not the living or the dead.

Summary
Iruka’s life has fallen apart in the year since the kyuubi attack. He spends his days pulling pranks, arguing with his least favourite ANBU, Hound, and becoming more obsessed with teenage jounin Hatake Kakashi for reasons he doesn’t entirely understand. Then he starts hearing the stories.
Several orphans have gone missing – branded as runaways by a village still licking its wounds, no one is searching for them. But there are rumours whispered by the village children: rumours of the bogeyman, a shadowy figure who emerges from the underworld, perhaps a man or a monster, with messages from dead parents to lure the orphans back to the Land of the Dead.
Iruka doesn’t know what to believe. But the danger is real, the adults aren’t listening, and somebody needs to stop the bogeyman. It might as well be him.

Summary
After Iruka’s confrontation with Kakashi before the chuunin exams, he’s targeted by a serial killer who seems to be picking off disrespectful chuunin. Iruka survives, but it’s only a matter of time before the killer returns to finish the job. Finding his name on the suspects’ list, Kakashi bullies his way onto Tenzou’s investigation in an attempt to clear his name and protect Iruka from the real threat.

Summary
Exasperated with the ever-increasing number of well-meaning but annoying busybodies who seem to think he needs a man in his life, Iruka finally breaks down and asks Kakashi to be his fake-boyfriend in order to keep the wannabe-matchmakers off his back.
The only problem is, Kakashi turns out to be a much better boyfriend than Iruka anticipated.
