“No, the elf didn’t take the picture. mommy did.”
“What makes you think that, kiddo?” Tony asked.
“Because I saw her last night,” Peter said, looking at his mom and then his dad. “And I also saw Santa kissing her.”
Both adults went quiet for a few seconds as the little boy casually walked toward the presents as if nothing had happened.

"Did your parents pass away?" they asked.
"Yeah, they had a plane accident right before I turned five. I’ve been living with my aunt and uncle ever since," he would always reply.
He remembers how one morning Uncle Ben cried when he found out, and Aunt May was in shock with tears on her cheeks. He also remembers when they told him — they had called him into the living room.
According to May, she and Ben thought he had experienced some kind of trauma, maybe from finding out so suddenly that his parents had died, but he spent the whole day acting normal, playing with his toys or watching TV in Ben’s arms.
"I don’t really feel like crying, even if it’s sad they’re gone," he’d say so casually.
