    Silence stretches through the apartment, thick, almost viscous. Chenle can taste it, bitter on the end of his tongue.

    As soon as the virus began to spread, the Alphas took control almost instantly. Forming gangs, they enforced their own rules there was no law, no government, no police anymore.
    Over time, only the strong survived the Alphas. Betas and omegas died from zombie attacks or from cruel treatment.
    There were still a fair number of betas left. But omegas… they were nearly extinct. Finding an omega was even harder than finding food.
