Deku is finally back after 6 months of rogue vigilante-ing without results but he is so different from how he used to be. Katsuki is both glad that he's home safe and worried about his somewhat-friend / definitely-crush.
When Deku finally opens up, Katsuki pulls all the stops to make him feel safe and supported even though that's definitely not something he's usually good at. Maybe it's easier when you're in love.
