Summary
Spark thought he had died a long time ago and had been trying to figure out how to let go. Even if he was kind and caring to her as a child, to everyone she cared for, he was a bad man.
She was doing well enough with that until a chance encounter in the forest with the reincarnation of the man she once knew turned her world upside down.

Colonel Quaritch hadn't expected to come across the young woman he used to care for all those years ago. He had honestly hoped that after everything happened in the past that she might have been sent to Earth. But seeing the way she looked at him made him relieved she hadn't.
Quickly jumping on the second chance he never thought he'd get, he started trying to rebuild the bond they used to share, all while trying to complete the mission. Soon though he began to realize that there was far more to the girl than he ever thought possible.
