Summary
Calloused and pale hands grasped at the blue fabric of Jason's shirt, Roy had his teeth bared through his tears. His breathing was rapid and uneven, Roy kept adjusting his head against Jason's collar bone, like he was just trying to see how much of the shirt he could soak in his tears.
“I miss her.” Roy practically whined, lips vibrating on Jason's skin with every word. “Jace, I miss her so much.”

Roy was unable to deal with the grief after Lian's death, so he goes to the only constant in his life: Jason.

Summary
Jason's mother was a Catholic and Jason had just always assumed that automatically made him Catholic as well. Somewhere, deep down (probably) he knows he doesn't have to be if he doesn't want to - he just hadn't thought about religion much.
Yet. Jason found himself kneeled by his childhood bed, elbows rested firmly on his mattress with his hands clasped together so firmly his knuckles threatened to bloom into an icy white. His head rested against his fingertips and his eyes were shut tight. The silver beads of his mother’s old rosary peeked out of his hands.

Summary
Roy had many fears when Lian was put into his care, a main one being her ending up like him. He had enough trust in her, and he knew she was strong - but that's what Ollie thought of him, and Roy proved him wrong on every level possible.
Addiction, hereditary or not - Roy needed to make her know that she can't be around that stuff; he can't see her go down like he did.
And, even if she did, he was living proof you can get out of it alive and happy.

“What!? Don't want me getting hooked like you were!?” Lian spat, cheeks red and hot, “It's not my fault you can't control yourself just from the thought of dope!”
The door slammed behind her as she left and Roy was stood stunned in their lounge.
OR!
Lian does drugs and gets defensive while Roy starts to freak the fuck out.
