It’s an Oldegårdian trinket of luck, a pinecone pig. While in his humble opinion, it hardly resembles a pig but rather a hedgehog — he could ponder on Oldegårdian depictions of animals in a safer place. Preferably a library that isn’t anywhere near this hellscape.
“I’m not sure this will do you any good down here. Something tells me simple superstitions and trinkets of fortune are useless in this miserable place,” he starts to sneer and close the book.
