    Krogan lunged forward, pulling the knife out roughly before shoving the bottle down Hiccup’s throat, “Plug his nose.” Krogan ordered as Viggo nodded holding Hiccup’s nose shut.

    Hiccup thrashed and fought the entire way, he sprayed a bit of it out of his nose but it still fell down his throat. After a few seconds maybe less Hiccup suddenly convulsed, his entire body locking up like he was having a seizure or something as he crashed down onto the floor with a shriek of pain before tears sparked in his eyes- It was ripping through his entire body making everything it touched as it went down alight in flame and pure unfiltered agony as it clawed his insides and left venomous rakes in its wake making him thrash back as he bit his tongue so hard he nearly bit it off-
    Viggo ran over and knelt down next to Hiccup, ignoring the scent of bitter agony and focusing only on the boy.

    It was a battle, One part of him enjoyed seeing Hiccup writhe around like a pathetic worm, but the other- the alpha part of him, wanted oh so badly to comfort the screaming, crying, Trembling, Pup and gather him into his arms and take the omega pup somewhere comfortable and safe-

    Eventually, the alpha side won.

    Viggo Grimborn was a broken man. His entire life, he was taught that dragons were something to be hunted, creatures to be culled. He was taught to never trust anyone, everyone lies. He was taught to never get attached, that love was weakness. He was ok with being the villain. His grandfather taught him well.

    He lived by these rules for so long, that when a hero came and wrecked every single one of them, what could he do but fall?

    The least he could do is die protecting the one he loved. He was destined to have a tragic end.

    And yet, Hiccup saw fit to break that rule too.

    (Viggo survives the events of Triple Cross. This changes everything.)
