Summary
The Night Fury came crashing to the ground, teeth bared and growling despite the bola pinning its wings. A moment later, a second, smaller, winged creature landed in front of it, crouching protectively over the dragon.
"Get back." The creature demands, in a very human voice.
Stoick pushes through the gathering crowd, presses his axe to the thing's neck. "Who are you?"
The creature doesn't reply, tilts its head away from Stoick to speak to its demonic friend in the dragon's harsh, clicking language.
"You will answer me!" Stoick bellowed. "Who are you?"
"Odin help us- Ryder!" Astrid elbows her way through the crowd, sounding out of breath. She jolts to a stop next to Stoick, brushing her bangs out of her eyes.
The demon man, Ryder, tips her head to her. "Pleasure to see you again Milady."
"You know this man?"
Astrid nods. "That's the Dragon Conqueror. He helped us save you from Alvin."or - the night before the final training test, hiccup disappears. all of berk assumes she's dead. six years later, alvin takes berk. the only person they can turn to for help is the 'mythical dragon conqueror' and his night fury

Hiccup and Toothless's pups were already 1 month old, so they were still only sleeping and eating, but they brought joy to all of Berk and they had not yet shown their Viking form. Unfortunately, as 1 month had passed, soon the Viking Chiefs from all over the Archipelago would visit Berk and hear their story of peace with the dragons. And as if that were not enough, there were still many adventures ahead, after all everyone still needed to get used to the presence of dragons in Berk, in addition to having Aric and Runa discover new things all over Berk. It's been a while since Hiccup just disappeared from Berk. The night before his final trial he was there and then... He wasn't. Nor did the dragons in the arena.
Nothing never made sense, but they were so busy grieving their (recently) beloved Hiccup to put one and one together.
Five years later, things barely changed. Although dragons ceased their attacks, vikings kept trying to hunt them, looking for their total extinction.
That is until a mysterious creature appears. Rumored to have a skin darker than night itself. Nobody has ever seen it clearly. Never attacks directly at them. It just liberates dragons from traps, takes the hurt ones and then vanishes in the night.

Most of the islands inside the archipelago suffered from consistent dragon raids. Berk was no exception. The more the dragons came, the more determined they were to fight just as hard and protect their own.
And then came the curse. New baby Berkians were born to the violent life with the raging raids, but these ones had one difference—they had marks on their skin, like tattoos of dragons.
Before they could so much as lay a hand on either of the babies, lightning struck the earth. Two figures appeared out of thin air, standing between them and the condemned babies. One of the figures was a tall young man with unruly auburn hair. The other was a black-as-night dragon that was curled around the man’s legs, sharp teeth bared as it snarled, glaring at the Berkians like it wanted to blast them to bits.

Should he stay connected to a culture that has caused years of pain for thousands or free those that are the direct cause as wells as the victims.
While others may burn, only the scars shall last.
