Damian wasn’t looking forward to dorming at Gotham University. He already lived in Gotham, why did he need to live in the campus dorms? But at the frustrating persistence of his eldest brother and his father, he resigned himself to an exhausting year of being dormmates with an uninteresting and lowly civilian. Except Danny is anything but uninteresting. He is lowly, though. What other word could he use to describe the deplorable garbage quality of meat that his vampire roommate considers adequate sustenance? At this point, Damian is tempted to offer himself to Danny so that he doesn’t have to see Danny eat another steak that is more processed and bacteria-ridden than their school.

And inevitably, there would be objections. vampires were a stubborn species, clinging to old beliefs until enough evidence piled up that they couldn't possibly deny it. They had to be forced into seeing the truth, and that's something Bruce had realised a while back. He knew that they would not accept that humans were completely gone until it was undeniable
Still, now, in the eyes of the law, all humans were officially extinct, a call that should have been made years ago.
Chaos erupted.
OR: Vampires think all humans are extinct. Tim (a teenager) survives purely from dumb luck and his own survival skills. What will happen when human-loving, adoption-obsessed Bruce Wayne, an ancient Vampire who yearns for a new child, finds out?

Summary
In freshman year of high school, Danny pulled away from his friends without explanation.
At sixteen, he disappeared. Sam and Tucker presumed him dead. His parents insisted he was taken by ghosts.
As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.
Tim's not sure what he'll do first when he finally finds the brilliant bastard - kiss him or punch his teeth in.
