“I’m Mark, by the way, Jaemin’s… Jaemin’s uh-” Mark turns to Jaemin then.
Jaemin smiles indulgently at Mark, tight-lipped and corners slightly lifted, and pats Mark’s thigh. “Jaemin’s is fine, Markie. Jeno over here is my roommate.”
“Oh! Jaemin has said so much about you. Good things though. He says you’re a great roommate. Also, I think we’re in Children’s Literature together. 10 A.M. on Mondays and Wednesdays?” Mark says.

Summary
Mark tells him that many things are easy to say but difficult to do. Jaemin nods along but he thinks that inversely, many things are easy to do but difficult to say.
It is easy to love Mark. It is not easy to tell him. Jaemin is inexperienced with these things, the gravity of words choking down on him every time he contemplates opening his mouth and vocalizing long felt expressions.
I love you, he muses as he watches Mark in the bathroom mirror fixing his hair. I love you, he thinks as Mark tries for the fourth time that month to cook him a sunny side up egg. I love you, he imagines saying as Mark turns to him mid-conversation, smiling in that small, nearly secret way that makes Jaemin want to think is only for him.
I love you, he whispers as Mark sleeps, curled up close to him. I love you, he says in his dreams as Mark’s warmth is the last thought before he falls asleep.
It all stems from the very beginning of Jaemin’s knowledge of Mark.
