Summary
Sgaeyl is one of the strongest dragons in the Empyrean, mated to one of the most feared dragons on the continent. As Xaden struggles to understand his feelings toward the daughter of the woman who executed his father, Sgaeyl watches events unfold through the bond she shares with the hardened wingleader. Desperate to protect both his life and the lives of the dragons she loves, Sgaeyl must decide whether Violet deserves Xaden's protection, or whether she should simply solve the problem for them all.
This is a retelling of Fourth Wing from Sgaeyl's POV, as she interprets Xaden's point of view through their bond. It contains countless FW/ IF spoilers.
All FW and IF storylines were created by the wonderful Rebecca Yarros, and this is simply my attempt to remain in the world she so adeptly imagined and described.
