She froze, poker halted over her head for the worst strike yet. Her gaze bore into Katsuki. He hung to her attention like a lifeline. “Torture me instead,” he repeated, keeping his hoarse voice as calm as possible. “Come on, you know you want to see what it’s like to torture one of the best three in my damn class. Well, here I fucking am! You want entertainment? You want revenge? I’m the one you fucking want.”
In his experience, ‘entertainment’ was often in the form of breaking people’s will when it came to villains.
She wanted to break them, and she wanted to have fun with it. Katsuki would be a challenge she couldn't help herself from taking on.

The group get kidnapped.
It pretty much goes as you would expect; horribly. With a torturer as their kidnapper, no clues about their whereabouts whatsoever to the outside world and time quickly running out, they'll need as much luck as they can get to escape... let alone survive.
Katsuki isn't very lucky, but he's ready to fight Death himself if it means it'll save his friends.

Summary
Every year of headache-inducing brats brings a new set of challenges, and Shouta is well aware of this. This year is no different - he’s got Tensei’s younger brother who is practically his pseudo-nephew, a foster kid with a mental quirk who outright refuses to speak during class, and somehow he pulled the short straw to receive Endeavor’s youngest son.
It quickly becomes apparent, however, that even these class highlights will not be the priority focus in avoiding disasters this year. They’re only a week in when the kid he placed in Seat 17 brutally attacks a classmate from 1B, landing the other kid in the hospital and refusing to provide any semblance of explanation to the staff.

Eventually, people learned about his reputation, heard of his winning streak, and discovered that if they fought him, they would lose.
Depending on the handler, losing meant something different for everyone. But no matter what, a loss meant punishment. Some got beaten, some were starved, some killed, some suffered worse.
All that’s to say, Katsuki became a light sleeper. Unfortunately for his competition, the league didn’t want to lose their “grand champion”, so after the third attack, he was moved.

Or Katsuki is never saved at Kamino and the league uses him in their human dog fighting ring.

Katsuki is an Alpha but he would do literally anything to have been an Omega or Beta. He's too dangerous, too feral, too aggressive. He's convinced that if he takes enough pills, put on enough scent patches, people will treat him differently.
They never do and Katsuki just continues to spiral.
