Mary and Luke enlist Ryan's help to bring hope back to the city and take up the mantle of Batwoman. An alternate history among everyone and most of all Sophie getting to be an ally to Ryan from the moment she puts on the cowl instead of her enemy.

After coasting through the first two weeks of school Shuri's eyes land on Riri Williams. Someone just as bored with their teachers antics. However sitting next to a pretty girl, boring math class aside she's sure she'll be fine. The real issue lies when she struggles to endure the dreams she has of her charming classmate. And will she ever get to live them?

It had only been 2 months since Shuri had returned from Haiti. Shuri and Riri have been messing around during Shuri's trip. What started as navigating their feelings for one another, has now turned into moments they keep for just them.
A telling of Shuri and Riri's journey from friends to gfs told like the nerdy, awkward teens they are :)
The amount of new Shuriri content was dwindling, so this is for the ones that are still here. Still giddy over the edits, insta pages, and ironheart updates. The ones who fell in love with these two sat in the theater. Me too.

Busted.
Shuri tries to laugh it off to mask her embarrassment and closes the sketchbook, hooking the pencil behind one of her pierced ears. She doesn't miss how the girl follows her movements instinctively.
“Sorry, I hope that didn’t bother you or make you uncomfortable in any way.”
“Nah, you’re good,” the stranger motions with her head towards the closed sketchbook, “and I was kinda intrigued. I don’t think I’ve ever been… drawn before.” she looks back at Shuri with half a smile, “You do that often?”
She might be wrong, but there’s a hint in her guts that the girl’s tone might be somewhat teasing, so Shuri does her best to reciprocate, “I don’t make a habit of it.”
“And what’s so special about this time?”
“You.”
