Summary
Shadow hadn't seen anyone in years, decided to isolate himself from everyone to avoid getting hurt. Rouge was the only exception. Until a unexpected invitation arrives at his house: an invitation to Sonic and Sally's wedding. Shadow still doesn't understand why the hedgehog cared so much about him, but Rouge convinced him to go (even though he doesn't want to). At the party, the hedgehog is shocked to realize how much time has passed and how different they (whom he secretly considered his friends) were. Amidst the conflicting feelings he felt about the situation, Shadow meets Sonia, his rival's sister, with whom he shares a bond. Shadow finds himself questioning how much he knows himself, he wonders about what he feels about Sonia, about the part of him that he thought had died a long time ago with Maria " how far would he go to protect the people he cares about?
