"Suguru Geto's dorm room needs to be cleaned out."
Satoru shrugged. "So clean it."
"Satoru," Yaga said sternly. Some kind of reprimand hung in the air between them, but it didn't come. Yaga had been very delicate about the situation since it happened, but Satoru was still a teenager and still had all the attitude that came with it.
"I don't know why you're bothering to tell me this."
Yaga breathed deeply. "Typically, when we lose students, for whatever reason." The unspoken reasons of quitting, defection, and death were heavily implied. "We either contact the family to retrieve their personal items, or we trash everything. Since Suguru doesn't have a family to contact…"
"I promise if you don't at least look, you're going to wish you did one day."
Suguru is gone, leaving Satoru to pick up the pieces he left behind.

Wu Xian who is funny, chaotic, and has a heart of gold. Wu Xian who has survived tragedy and continues to live in its shadow, but gets up every day to do good where he can. Wu Xian, who is first scorned by, then cautiously watched by, and then adored by, Wang Ji.
Wu Xian, who is very obviously based off Wei Ying.
Or: Secret web novelist Lan Zhan receives disturbing fan mail while hiding his identify from the man he based his entire inner world on. Something has to give.

Lan Zhan is not expecting the man who is bent over the car’s grill, buffing it with his perky ass in the air dressed in what look like running shorts of nearly indecent skimpiness. He straightens, dumping the sponge in a bucket of water and splashing droplets of water on his long, bare golden legs. He could be a booth bunny at Muscle Car Nationals, if booth bunnies came in twink flavour. His shirt is a faded t, the sleeves cut out with the cuts dipping halfway down the side seams to reveal bronzed skin and a hint of black ink.
The boy toy of the man selling the car? Some neighbourhood youth working for chump change? Lan Zhan checks his phone. He’s looking for Wei Ying. The boy – man? – cleaning the car will know.
