Summary
Sirius Black arrives first at the Potter residence after Voldemort kills Lily and James and vows to protect Harry no matter what-- even if that means keeping from him the fact that he has a soulmate. Raised by Sirius Harry grows up far more ruthless and strategic and is placed in Slytherin. But even with his godfather's cautions he cannot stay away from the Ravenclaw girl with different colored eyes, a sign she's been given a soulmate by Lady Magic.
