   Summary

   Butcher had decided long before Becca's disappearance that he would never, ever love anyone the same again. He definitely wasn't going to wrapped up with the likes of Alpha Enemy Number One, Homelander. And, how could he? Homelander was the worst. THE WORST.

   Except, maybe he isn't exactly Alpha Enemy Number One. And, maybe Butcher didn't have time to prepare for what was going to happen when he caught a whiff of that scent.
